well, the neg terminal is the big one, and it was a bit tougher to get 
on than it was to come off, but i just figured it was tight, but when i 
put on the positive, it just slid right on with a big fireworks display!

that sucks to have that happen. i just have one puzzling question however. the
pos and neg terminals are always different sizes. didnt you have to work
pretty  hard at it to get one of the terminals on, and the other should have
been REALLY loose? i have never seen a battery with the same size posts to
mix that up. only fit one way.
