"the rite stuff" is suposed to be good for tranny fluid also. i use it on MOST
of the gaskets i have to make now. i had one can, i think it was an older can,
that said it was fuel safe even. i used it, and it got eaten up. then the next
can i bought, didnt say fuel safe. i think the ethenal in fuel now eats it
maybe. but i have been told that it is good for tranny fluid. you squirt it
on, and put the pan on, and its good to go. it is spendy tho. i think it is
like 12-15 for a can of it. just make sure you stick a nail or something in
the nosel of it. it will dry down into the valve.
