This surprises me however, when one's email is listed out there, scammers will email people knowing whatever it is the folks want, whether Beanie Baby, jewelry, old coins, antiques, Hot wheels, Star Wars collecbles you name it, scamms "have" it. 

Everyone now remembers the recent scammer "Christian Domenico" of uh, "Great Falls, Montana" as the scammer was using a mess of aliases with sam BS story:

Unfortunatley, the scammer probably ripped off a mess of folks doing this, sort of like the people who got ripped off $4500 each on a scam 69 AMX in NM that didn't exist....$18,000 for a few hours work!

        Last November I was taken by some one calling himself Scott Finley although his caller ID on his phone says Thomas Murphy, Calls came from a New york number. He sold me a 401 award winning Motor but never delivered, I lost $1,700 on tha scam. It was not on craigs list  it was on this AMC website. Larry

          I came across this site and all I can say is WOW. Looks like a slew of people got ripped
          off on those FBI 401 engines on craigslist a year ago, might still be going on, but as you

          I don't know what website that is, just happened upon it and started reading. And reading.
          Really important is check out the bottom of above link with all the aliases not only in
          addresses, but also emails and phone numbers, YIKES!!! This guy obviously had it going on,
          too bad good AMCers (and looks like brand X car folks) got ripped off.
