I don't see a driveshaft. 
Thats a ford 8" rear as near as I can tell, maybe a 9, but I think 8 due to the drain plug style.
Is that a Pglide tailhousing?

False advertising indeed, nothing convertible about that car!
Convertibles have soft tops, that just has hacksaw marks....

If it is solid, it would be a fun car to make a coupe or something out of.
It looks like someones abandoned project from many years ago.
I have to wonder why it is bid up to $800 plus dollars. I'm doubting it has that much value.
Unless that is a "good" SBC, and trans. If it has a Mustang 8" it might bring a few hundred.

For that $870, you could have my convertible!
