Re: [AMC-list] Mighty Mite

For fun info on lotus 7 building.

http://www.locostusa.com/forums/

tons of info.
power by just about ANYTHING!
Mild to wild, builders choice!
There is a running driving one built with a 3cyl Kubota Turbo Diesel.
32hp, IIRC, gets upwards of 50mpg!

There's an outfit in BC making Lotus 7 replica's with a Hayabusa
motor...
Got me thinking it was a good idea, but really needed a more modern
platform, which got me considering what a Lotus Elise would be like,
with a few less pounds! The F1 fan in me just loves the idea of a
street car with a 13000rpm redline! Sort of the polar opposite of my
390 AMX, both fun, just in different way's!

For a real vintage feel, you could bolt two cranks, end to end, and
make a 400 HP straight 8!

Cheers, Dave
