[AMC-list] Pacer Question

I had a similar problem with the 290 in my 69 Rebel. Timing chain jumped when the bronze slider on the fuel pump came off. valves hit the pistons ever so slightly and bent the pushrods. Engine ran but sounded like a stone crusher was in the valve train.
