i would check tire ballance, then check the wheels if they are true or not. (strait, and not bent from curbs) if it was sitting on those tires for a while, i have experienced that some tires will "flat spot" from sitting for long periods of time. you could also check drive shaft ballance. a carb issue would not make it shake violently like that. motor mount shouldnt do that either. maybe when you get the engine under load, starting from stop, then engine/trans would shift/flop around. it sounds like something in the rotating mass. wheels, tires, brake drum/rotors, or drive shaft to me. whatabout rear end bushings? dave stohler
