yeah, that is not optional! It makes a lot of water, esp. in humid climates
like all crazy east- and gulf- coasters. my 63 had a knockout for it. the
bad news is you have to remove the entire drivetrain to get at it easily! I
did poke mine out from inside, from a bad angle with a punch and hammer.
