Re: [AMC-list] 69 Ambassador Carpeting Job -- HELP!

Along time ago in what seems like another life I was a fresh-faced college student with a summer job as a used car salesman. I was the young honest guy on the car lot amongst a group of groaty, wheeler-dealer plaid pants and sport coat, type sales guys. We had a "mechanic" who came in once a week with a special electric drill and flexible shaft with an adapter to fit most speedometers. My how those miles disappeared. He also made "repairs" such as adding transmission fluid the crankcase oil to swell leaky seals.

The city will be unnamed.
The car lot will be unnamed.

We had some fun times though.
