Okay there was a thread about tranny identification. 

I have a data point.

M-3x series tranny from a 1965 Rambler American 330 with the L-head engine (90 hp. I believe)>

Tag (blue)Model No.  AS-32-35
Finned torque convertor. No drain plug.  No coolant lines on tranny.
