Re: [Amc-list] 327 water pump

Greetings,
I may have a new (or rebuilt, I'm not sure) water pump for the 287/327.
They are the same unit...
Don't recall 'with this or with that' when I bought it (or them)..
If you need one, let me know, and I'll perform the hunt to see where they
are and what, exactly, they are and say.
Jerijan

I'm reasonably sure they mean a fan clutch. AMC didn't use it in 62, but may
have used it later, or it could be a Kaiser Jeep thing (AMC didn't own Jeep
when Jeep used the 327 V-8 in Wagoneers). I'm with Tom -- they collapsed the
part book numbers and show the pumps as fitting all AMC 327s, which they do.
But you need the right one! So just order "w/o auto fan" and you should be
fine. Either that or go through one of the vendors or an antique vendor like
Kanter, who may know a bit more about the cars and have the correct part
listed.

Isn't that just fan clutch? Did Rambler have those in 62?! Sounds like
parts-book-collapse to me.
