The Forum you are trying to joing was, I think, Fran's old Forum.  Because of the past problems, they have created an obstacle course as an application form and, like you, I did not join.  There were some personalities on there that irritated me too, so it's not big loss for me.  There is another forum and I'm sure Wrambler (Mark) or Frank, or someone can give you the URL for it.  It's much easier to join and is run by Bill Davidson? in Iowa who is computer literate and is a perfectionist when it comes to machinery.  It's really a pretty friendly group.
