I was wondering the same thing, but it's high enough it just might clear. Maybe a dent in the valve cover will be needed... (just kidding!!) 

Look for pre 87 GM cars with 2.5L. Pontiac 6000, Chevy Celebrity, etc., will all have one. So will S-10 pickups and Blazers -- they may have them as late a 90-91. GM started with the TBI in 1982 ("Power Tech" 2.5L four). By 87 the "Power Tech" engine was using a crank fired ignition that had a probe inserted into a hole in the side of the block. That block was made for FWD only and had no distributor. That TB could be used, but not the computer. Don't know if that computer could have the ignition programmed out or not, but earlier distributor engines will work without the distributor connected, will just show a check light (unless programmed out).

WOW! The most amazing thing is that anyone is bothering to think about that
motor at all. I will write 'em and ask which TBI unit, but I wonder if that
would actually fit -- there's a severe clearance issue with that IAC and the
valve cover I think.

I was actually at a U-Pull-It Saturday looking for small TBIs. Found none.
Not even sure how to look up a likely donor.
