 Ya I will be completely striping this car and sanding it and doing the body work then lots of block sanding before paint. I am going to leave the interior tan as it is in fairly good shape.
 This car was a 232 auto so not a big money car. A color change I think would increase it's value as well as the swap to a 360/727 combo.
 I don't like the Yuma Tan she is now. Seems kinda a drab color.

That's a nice color and goes well with black accents (I've seen a few 
American's with that color and black roofs).

As far as color changes go in general, as long as you paint everything 
that is visible and remove all the trim so you don't have peeling edges, 
they don't hurt the value of the car much. There are exceptions,of 
course but it's hard to go wrong with earth tones.
