Oh right! I totally forgot about that particular set of slurs... they 
don't bite so hard today (umm, but I'm not a Scot :-) but yeah, 
'scotched' was an insult too meaning cheapskate crap work. We still have 
a lot of these gems embedded in language...

Well let's stick to Flying Scotsman instead.
