Hey all, I know you're talking about trunnion spring compressors, but I
thought I'd gloat for a moment to show the one I built to install the
springs in the 79 AMX:

Nope, with the upper arms installed, and dropped to their lowest 
position, the uncompressed spring will not fit in. You must compress it 
to get it in there.

If it's got the hat with ears, just drop the car on it, put on chain and

BIG S-hooks then jack up the car.
