[Amc-list] Automatic Transmission Fluid

The 727 torqueflite automatics used in the AMC's from '72 on called for
Dexron automatic transmission fluid.  Of course on the shelves today is
Dexron 3, 4, etc.  I was going to drop the pan and replace the filter and
fluid that came out, but I am not sure in today's market what we be safe to
use to replace the lost fluid, probably 6 quarts or better.  Will any fluid
that is Dexron compatible be okay?

Any suggestions?  Thanks.
