I know we've been around this block way too many times. Still, it would
be sad to see some of the brands go. I kinda like the Pontiac G8. I
think the Saturn Aura and Astra are pretty cool. I had a Saturn SL1, and
my oldest son had a Saturn Ion. He liked Saturns so much - he went and
applied at the local Saturn dealership to work the parts counter.

Heck, it would be a pretty big wonder if dealerships could stay open
long enough for GM to shut them down! Where my son works, they just shut
down one dealership in the group, and merged a lot of functions. A whole
lot of folks are without jobs. Those that still have jobs are a lot
busier, picking up some of the other functions.

And I know we've been around this circle way too many times. Still, I
can't see bailing out banks to the tune of 700 Billion dollars while
letting folks that are earning barely above the minimum wage tough it out.

Rambler content? I don't know, at least AMC merged with Chrysler,
although my favorites were long gone. I think we're talking more
Studebaker content the way things are going.
