I've seen these on bikes and a few ricers. Didn't think they would sound good on a V-8, but then I went to the forum where they have videos with sound. The Corvette sounds good! Most of the cars are small engines, the only other large one might be the camper (UltraVan), which should have a small block V-8, but might be a 350-300 six. I can see the video of an ancient Rambler on there now...

Ran these on BMW 1,000cc flat twin street bikes
with exhaust end just behind your boot heel.

You could hear the wind buffeting as you 
chatted with your passenger it was so quiet.
