Yeah, there's a sterling faucett plant site not 3 miles from my house.
It has been "cleaned", but No houses may ever be built there.
The entire area has been "capped" with blactop to prevent rain water from pushing the remaining contaminates anywhere. They've built a gas station a banck and a motel on about half of it. The rest of it looks like a really bad parking lot as the blacktop cap is fairly rough in finish.
   When they build they lay footers and all on top of the cap and then build up any soil etc; for looks. Not that they can get anything to grow much!
