Re: [Amc-list] Mid 80s Jeep A/C

The Eagle setup and the one in my 6 cyl FSJs have pretty much matched. Different offset from the 4.0L setup (I have several of the brackets kicking around in my parts pile from past motor swaps and part outs) I'm putting one into my Spirit to stabilize the 1 wire alternator (96 amp) It may end up with on board air later.

Tom, Do you think that A/C compressor bracket was a Jeep or Eagle/concord piece? Just wondering?
Looks like it may be a good starting point for most A/C onto six cylinder retrofits.
I will say if using one I would not go for moving the alternator over to underside of it unless absolutely needed!
The 80's Concord and Eagle alternator setup sucked! You had a single belt dropping down from the compressor and they were a bear to get installed and tightened properly!

We now return you to your reularly scheduled V-8 A/C thread....
