And it's noisy too! No rattles, but it doesn't damp sound like layers of 
  pressboard and vinyl. I'll probably yank the fronts off and back with 
something soft. The kick panels are backed with dynamat. THe headliner 
will get an insulating blanket. Since I've never had any interior panels 
in this car (water ruined long ago) anything's an improvement.

Oh man I've had my share of that! Like those dreams where you run and it 
gets farther away...
