I think the system was called "C4" when it was first developed to control the feedback Rochester carbs.  It made an easy transition to TBI.  Tom J. helped me get the Iron Duke Spirit (with feedback carb) running by putting new pins on the Prom chip after some doofus at NAPA bent them badly.
