It is odd. I have one of those 1bbl plates in the parts pile I got from 
Joe. The 2bbl plate is just flat and covers the trough. The 1bbl plate 
has a brass? pipe through it.

Imagine the amount of juice the motor would swallow should that pipe 
leak...! Ouch!
