 A quick web search for shipping Canada to US shows that Fedex requires one to get their own customs brokerage done to ship across the border or use theirs.

I went this far and quit, yeah, it looks like they will help one do it.
Whether you can work it out from your end then get the seller to drop it off for shipment I could not tell.
Getting an unwilling seller to co-operate is usually a large waste of time.
I went in circles with a guy over a pair of fenders, got it worked out for a pickup even. All he had to do was have them available for pickup! He stopped communicating with me. Period. He decided it was to much bother for him.
No crossing of borders or anything, just a guy who did not want to do it afterall.
