it seems they must as all I found have the diode and report it as stopping that from happening.
Makes you wonder, if we put a solar panel on every house and left the diodes out would they glow all night preventing darness???  LOL  :]

I'm as big a fan of some HF stuff as anyone, but not sure I trust the little solar panels to do a very good job on an Optima.
   Up here in the salt bel we park our cars for the winter if we want to keep them. I'm not sure I want to be wondering what the solar panel is or is not doing all winter!
