they plug it in and it works.  what else is there to know?	:^/

a security expert trolled the london financial district a couple of
years ago.  iirc something like 80% of the wifi networks - and we're
talking international banks and securities trading dompanies here -
were wide open, with no trace of security.  abd there were a lot of
networks because we're talking old buildings, very difficult to wire.
