i don't know how the carbs compare, but the '76-'80 bbd 2bbl intake
has better fuel distribution; amc spent some time on that for
emissions reasons.

this is true.

as joe says, he's assuming you already have the 2bbl intake that was
optional '65-'70.

according to amc, either 2bbl was worth about 10hp over the 1bbl.
