I run 205/60/15" on 15X7" rally wheels on the front of my 69.
I had to roll the front lips to get clearance.
I plan on moving to a 215/65 to get a slightly narrower profile in the future.
I can't say anyting about  the rear as I run front fender lips welded into the 1/4's with 255/60/15" on 15x8" wheels.
Those won't even come clsoe to going under a stock 1/4.
