The H.O. Exhaust manifold has been wrapped in my American for going on 8 years.
Ain't rusted out, burnt out or blown out yet...
I read all that hogwash when I did it.
I ain't buying it. The heat from the exhaust cooks the moisture out of the wrap.
If the exhaust heat was going to "burn out" the header it would darned well do so, wrap or no wrap.
