Bill,

You can have yours rebuilt (if it's a Delco or Carter made pump) by Then 
& Now Automotive (http://www.then-now.com). They did the pump on my 67 
American a few years ago. Total cost (less shipping to them) was about 
$90 and they turned it around fast.
