[Amc-list] 6 cyl drivetrain

Use a 72 up block, the new lakewood to chev bell and most any good trans is available w/gm bolt pattern and a multitude of gear ratios are avail. Blowproof clutch & flywheel are MANDATORY w/500 hp!                            BTW- before lakewoods you had to make a .250 steel enclosure around the bellhousing 360 degrees. Blankets were not made until later and could ONLY be used on automatics.
Been racing since 1963, seen some clutch explosions, nasty.......
