That's also the press I have.[found mine at a local scratch and dent place, allready assembled for $109.] 
Works very well if you don't abuse it.
As for pressing out studs, the only way to do it is to back the hub with a suitable piece of pipe around the stud head.
If you don't to that the whole mess just wanders around.
I usually just knock them out with a hammer too.
