  IF you guys are serious about just wanting to find "homes" for parts, instead of scrapping them, then here are some suggestions.
   
  1)  Forums at www.ifsja.org ... post a CHEAP or FREE engine in the FOR SALE forum
  2)  Forums at www.pirate4x4.com ... ditto on the above
  3)  Forums at www.bulltear.com ... ditto
  4)  Forms at www.greatlakes4x4.com ... MI/IN/OH specific, but there might be some in your area.  Cheap and free 304's pop up there occasionally (I missed one about 2 weeks ago ... needed some misc. small parts for my stroker build).
  5) www.craigslist.org ... ditto
  6) www.epage.com ... post in AMC classifieds
  7)  www.freecycle.org - Join you local group and post away for free stuff (wanted and offers)
   
  FREE STUFF in 1,2 or 4 is usually guaranteed to be snagged up.
