Jesse; Back in 1974 the AMC big whigs introduced a
stroked 401/5spd car to compete with the big three,
measuring about 445 inches. It was a Hornet AMX two
seater. The car was so nasty that it scared all the
AMC suits and they ordered it shredded, the parts
destroyed and all references of the car denied. A line
employee substituted a regular Hornet for the car,
snuck it out and hid the car in a barn in Kentucky. I
bought it about four years ago!!!
Actually....
 I found a Hornet AMX in a yard and that is what I got
the kick panel from. I mistyped, my finger meant to go
to the 7 and hit the 5 instead, sorry.....Russ
