I'm not an expert, but try more PAM or similar.
Most oils soften rubber, that's why old vacuum hoses fail when the get oil soaked, they soften and swell.
spray the snot out of it and leave it be for a while.
I'm pretty sure it will soften and come off with a little patience.
October till now may be a bit long :]
