Oh I dunno -- yeah it's crazy but that's a given since we drive

I imagine most of the gaskets you'll make from hardware store stock...

I bet NAPA has something in their catalogs, or a hotrod A/C
supplier (vintageair?)

That's a tough one! I dont kno wwhat that crap was in there
but none of mine have survived. Basically I run without any
at all, and it seems to work fine, though a bit if leakage
of course. It was like cellophane-backed 1/8" open cell foam
self-adhesive. Nasty. But it has a semi-stiff backing with a soft
seal, hard to duplicate. I was thinking -- but not acting! --
on something like 3/16" neoprene foam, carefully cut to
fit. Silicone rubber makes an excellent adhesive for this stuff.

Even a concours car, do they take ducts apart to look? :-)
