FINALLY! I have all the parts (really). The !@!@!!!!
countershaft arrived today -- $200 for that. $47 each for
motor mounts! Times two!

So my "Rambler Mentality" trans and clutch is an easy $600
in parts alone. Eh, it's an obscure, unpopular, ancient and
peculiar car that from half a century ago that I love very much
so what the hell, "cheap" (sic) thrills.

But it will be perfect, and since I am one with the sliding
gear business, it won't lose teeth on my watch. It'll last a
long time.

So trans goes together Monday, probably in the car next weekend.
