Extreme 4X4 did a diesel Samuri coversion.
They installed a Vw turbo diesel and veggie oil conversion.
It was well done and the episode is available on their website IIRC.
I gathered a couple of interesting tidbits on how the heating units work.
My neighbor has a parked blown up tracker I've thought would be cool to do this to.
They claim mileage in the mid to high 30's with the VW turbodiesels in the Suzuki/ Geo body.
