Bruce roll it over quite a few times by hand until it's turning pretty freely (with spark plugs removed). You don't want a ring to catch on a pit or spec of rust and crack now! Then put a battery in and roll it over 30-60 seconds with the starter with the plugs still out. After that put the plugs back in and try starting it up. Forget the gas tank, get a piece of fuel line and run it from the pump to a half-gallon/gallon milk jug hung under the hood! Will get you around the block a few times (5-10 miles or so) anyway!! ------------------- Bruce Griffis <bruce.griffis@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: The engine is no longer stuck, seized, frozen, snazzy over-sized paper-weight! -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Motors Cars" Magazine (AMC) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AMC.html (free download available!) _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
