Hey Jim, wouldn't the ceramic heater in the bottom of the 83+ intake help a bit on cold starts with LPG? You could wire it on both a thermostat and a timer. Have the timer first in line to turn power to the heater on, then have a t-stat on the intake between the timer and heater so that it only comes on under a certain temp. The timer wouldn't really be necessary, but would keep the heater from staying on too long under really cold conditions.

I may end up swapping LPG into the Spirit. Heating the intake isn't too hard except when the motor is cold. (heavy aluminum wrap and some hose clamps work from the exhaust to the intake like a shield to keep heat in)
