I wondered why he thought they could not be bought new too, but???? Brake hold down springage is one of the few things that can usually be found. More specific stuff like return springs and the little self adjuster cabels and such can be problematic, but still is usually findable with a diligent search on the parts store shelves or internet specialty houses. I agree as to the tools, one can be made, but, why bother when the correct tool is not expensive and still easy to get? I'd make one on a Sunday afternoon if i could not get one, but then proceed to order the tool on Monday for next time, unless my home made tool worked really, really well as I suspect Russ's does or he would buy one. -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L, Quadratrc II " Chronic Pain Hurts" -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: Archimedes <Freedom@xxxxxxxx> > > P.S.
