[Amc-list] OT: RM or insanity?

At what point did I get old, cheap, afraid?
Anyone else know the feeling?
Been saving cash most of the time I've been laid up.
Wife bought me an Olevia 42" LCD HD TV.
Since I got cash, i decided to buy a surround sound setup, nothing fancy as I'm a little tone deaf from age, shotgun blasts, air tools, uncapped headers, etc; [all done in fun, even the gun stuff! honest!]
So, I search, get my heart set on Denon low end receiver, then talk myself over to Onkyo TX-SR575 or TX-SR505.
shopped for the last few weeks, good deal on Amazon.com. 
Now, no matter how I try I can't get myself to spend the money.
It is sitting here in cash, I still have sufficient funds to do most of the other stuff I want to do right now.
How, did i get to the point I am now saving money? ewe, I think i'm going to need to get some professional help here. I mean, come on, the one thing I can do well right now is watch a movie! :]
