One thing Mark and I both neglected to mention -- you'll need to swap the radiator brackets side to side to move the radiator forward an inch or two and use a 1965 American or 71-75 CJ-5 (NOT CJ-7!!) Jeep water pump and pulley. Those are shorter than later models, though I bet the Wrangler 4.0L pump is probably close to the same length. there is some debate over that pump bolting up to pre 75 engines though -- I don't think it will.

You can use the engine, trans etc; including the front crossmember to mount the 258 if the 65 does not have a stock 232.
