You can use the engine, trans etc; including the front crossmember to mount the 258 if the 65 does not have a stock 232.
  front brakes swap.
rear axle is a no, too wide unless you use a Jeep style wheel that has lots of backspacing.
Theres a lot of little things to deal with in these swaps, But a 78 Hornet is a good starting point.
Don't sell anything from either till you sure you won't need it!
