A: It only takes 10 bolts to drop the valvebody (as well as a little oil) and the 2 bolts on the linkage above. (note which way they go)

Anyone know an easy way to replace the shift lever seal on a 727 transmission?  
I've pulled the pan, and I was trying to figure out how to get to the seal 
without pulling the valve body.
