Re: [Amc-list] Subject: Pressing Hubs

Got the hubs off the drums today. I put some Kroil
around the swaged lug seams and around the hub seam
and let is set for awhile. Then screwed a lug nut
onto one lug stud at a time and pounded on each stud
with the lug nut in place so as not to damage the
threads. Did not damage any of the studs and the hub
came free.

Thanks. This is one time when the big hammer did not
cause me more problems than I already had.
