they're called VENT WINDOWS and I WANT THEM!  i have a '94 lacking
openable vents.

the xj body had a minor restyling in '97; the doors might still fit
but i think the contours wouldn't match.

they also went through an evolution in hinges and latches, so '96 doors
match contours but still may not bolt on.

i've been told that you can take the doors apart and replace the vent
hardware with later fixed glass.  iirc jim blair on this list has done
it.
