As far as I know you can change the complete doors with any XJ doors till the end of the line in 2001.
If your just doing glass, Point they stopped installing vents was somewhere around 89 IIRC. 
I actually installed vents in a few during the changeover period for guys that wanted them!
They installed fixed glass in the vent portion till 96, then 97 up they went to larger one piece windows in the doors.
