[Amc-list] Help! I need suggestions on my 86 Eagle

A couple weeks ago the chime that goes off when the door is open and the key is in the ignition started going off even when the key was out. It would stop when the door was closed to I wasn't too concerned. 
Now, as of tonight, I can hit even the slightest bump or apply the brakes and ALL lights (headlights, dash lights) shut down  (I don't even have turn signals, hazards, radio, or clock), the temp gauge spikes and fuel gauge drops to empty. Everything kind of flickers if I hit another slight bump and when I hit the gas everything comes back  (and the chime and the seatbelt light come on as if you just turned on the ignition). I have shoved my head under the dash but can not find anything obvious. Any suggestions on what to check?
